B of I Holding, Inc. (NASDAQ: BOFI) today
announced that Michael A. Chipman and J. Gary Burke have joined the
Company's Board of Directors.
Michael A. Chipman is the founder of Chipsoft, Inc., the original owner and
developer of TurboTax, the leading income tax preparation software program
for consumers and small businesses. Mr. Chipman was the creative force
behind the TurboTax concept, and developed and produced the software
program out of his home in San Diego. Mr. Chipman served as President and
CEO of Chipsoft, Inc. until 1990 and as Vice Chairman until 1993 when
ChipSoft, Inc. merged with Intuit, Inc. Since that time, he has managed a
variety of family investments and has ownership interests in various
commercial real estate and technology companies and is an owner of the
Arizona DiamondbacksMajor League Baseball franchise. In addition to
serving on B of I's Board of Directors, Mr. Chipman will serve as the Chair
of the Technology committee.

J. Gary Burke has extensive experience in the oil business and in real
estate development. He is the President and sole shareholder of Truck
World, Inc., a wholesale and retail petroleum marketing company that he
founded in 1972. In 1980, Mr. Burke acquired four pipeline terminals on
the Buckeye Pipeline System and gained expertise in distribution including
scheduling, trading and hedging. He is also President and sole shareholder
of J. Gary Burke Corporation, a real estate holding company that owns and
manages properties in various states.
